Purpose of Establishment of the Semiconductor and Quantum Integrated Electronics Research Center

The Center was established in April 2024 as a research center to accelerate academic research and social implementation of new technologies related to semiconductors and quantum integrated electronics, with the aim of strengthening research capabilities in the post-processing of semiconductor and contributing to the establishment of sustainability of the semiconductor industry in Japan. We will strengthen our research capabilities through collaboration with domestic and international research institutions and semiconductor-related companies, educate graduate students through the practice of cutting-edge research, and conduct reskilling for working adults, thereby contributing to the development of distinguished research professionals in the post-processing of semiconductor, and the creation of innovation in society.
